Union County Oregon Health CareGrande Ronde Hospital The Grande Ronde Hospital has a professional staff of 41 representing 16 specialties and 395 employees. The facility is state licensed for 49 acute care beds and for 14 skilled nursing beds. There are several units, an ICU/CCU 6 bed unit, a Transitional Care Unit, a Medical/ Surgical Unit, including pediatric inpatient care, and an Inpatient – Outpatient Surgery Unit. On the third floor of GRH is the Family Birthing Center . Services provided by GRH are Diagnostic Imaging, Rehabilitation Therapy, Respiratory, Home Health Care a 24 Hour Emergency Department and a 24 Hour Laboratory. Three clinics providing care are the Children's Clinic, Internal Medicine Clinic and a Women's Clinic. Elgin Clinic This facility is owned and operated by Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) School of Nursing at Eastern Oregon University . The clinic staffed by Family Nurse Practitioners that provide care to the north end of the Grande Ronde Valley . Union Family Health Center The facility is owned and operated by Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) School of Nursing at Eastern Oregon University . Care is provided by Family Nurse Practitioners that serve the Cove, North Powder, and Union Communities. The clinic provides diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses, diagnostic tests (x-rays, EKG, lab tests), minor procedures and vision and hearing tests. Comprehensive women's health care, well-child care and health care education are services also provided by the clinic.
